WheelTugVision: The TaxiCam System
Dresden Aerospace AG develops the Wheeltug Vision System, an aircraft TaxiCam system as add-on to the WheelTug Drive System and as stand-alone system.
This add-on system for pilots provides visibility of blind spots arround the aircraft during ground operations. It consists of 3 cameras installed underneath the aircraft providing a live camera view to the pilots via EFB. The WheelTugVision camera system is suitable for different types of aircraft and is designed as retrofit solution.
The basic version includes three outside cameras for visual overview with aerodynamically shaped housings, network switch and controller, cockpit display unit, software package, cabling harness and STC.
